Elizabeth Nielsen Attorney

Elizabeth Nielsen

Attorney

Elizabeth Nielsen fiercely advocates for her clients yet gracefully navigates through litigation, embodying her favorite quote from boxer Muhammed Ali, “Float like a butterfly; sting like a bee.” She keeps her father’s boxing gloves in her office as a reminder that while her father boxed in the ring, Beth’s boxing ring is a courtroom and her fight is in the tumultuous ring of child custody disputes.

Beth knew from the age of 5 that she wanted to practice family law when she was inspired by a family member who ran for judge. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas then graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. While in law school she served on the Editorial Board of the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Beth’s law practice has been limited exclusively to family law since she was licensed in 2002 and her practice has been limited to family law exclusively her entire career. In 2015 she met the qualification to become designated as a board-certified family law specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a status earned by less than 10% of attorneys in Texas.

One client referenced Beth as “insightful… and efficient”. Another suggested that hiring Beth was “the best decision I made in all of my years of legal battles.”

In the fall you will find Beth snuggling on the couch with her two rescued dogs in a love/hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys. Beth has three children and two grandchildren who are the best part of her life.
