Michelle May O'Neil

Senior Shareholder

Described by one lawyer as "a lethal combination of sweet-and-salty", Michelle O'Neil exudes genuine compassion for her client's difficulties, yet she can be relentless in pursuit of a client's goals. With 30+ years’ experience, Ms. O’Neil presents the unique set of qualities to present a client’s case to a jury of twelve citizens or a legal appeal to a board of nine appellate justices. Ms. O’Neil is widely known as the “go-to” lawyer for Texas CEOs, executives, and high net worth individuals. A judge once said of Ms. O'Neil, "She cannot be out-gunned, out-briefed, or out-lawyered!"

Ms. O’Neil believes it is important to be an advocate for women in the community as well and used her time during the pandemic to get a post-doctoral certification in Women’s Leadership to further her goals in this area. She co-founded a group of Texas women lawyers called “HellonHeels”, boasting over 1,700 members, focused on positivity, support, and mentorship for women lawyers. She also advocates for women going through life transitions, including divorce, by providing business, financial, and life advice through her podcast. To help train and mentor upcoming lawyers, Ms. O’Neil founded the Family Law Trial Skills Bootcamp program at her alma mater Baylor University School of Law where she serves as an adjunct faculty member.

Words from Our Clients

  • “Your mind will be at ease when working with Lynne!”
“Lynne Milford has been helping me with my case for many, many years! I went through two lawyers who did the bare minimum before I met Lynne. From the moment I walked into her office, I knew I didn't have to look any further.”
    - K.M.
  • “I highly recommend Jeff Branch as the ONLY choice for family law!”
“I cannot speak any higher of Jeff Branch at O'Neil Wysocki. He handled my unfortunate divorce for me and made it a smooth, way less stressful ordeal.”
    - C.H.
  • “Jennifer Satagaj is the real deal.”
“Let me first say, my professional involvement with Ms. Satagaj began amidst extremely stressful circumstances yet concluded with nothing but superior performance on her behalf. JENNIFER SATAGAJ is THE REAL DEAL; considerate of your feelings, time, AND UNIQ”
    - D.M.
